At DEM4 we believe in recognizing all of the creative input that goes into the development of our products. This is why every specialist who we consult or contributes to the creation or promotion of one of our products is given the title of DEM4 Resident.

Michael Tvede

Dr Michael Tvede is Head Doctor and Head of the Department of Clinical Microbiology at Rigshospitalet, University Hospital of Copenhagen. Dr Tvede is also a globally renowned researcher in probiotics and has published more than 85 academic works, including articles in The Lancet and the American Journal of Gastroenterology.

Jesper Neergaard Gantzel

Mr Gantzel is a founder and partner of Biocare Copenhagen, a Danish biotech company specializing in food supplements with microbial compounds (probiotics, tyndalized bacteria cultures and bacteria lysates). These innovative products are created to target gastrointestinal disorders, infections and immunity.

Søren Baungaard Thomsen

Mr Thomsen is a founder and partner of Biocare Copenhagen, a Danish biotech company specializing in food supplements with microbial compounds (probiotics, tyndalized bacteria cultures and bacteria lysates). These innovative products are created to target gastrointestinal disorders, infections and immunity.

Martin Middeke

Martin Middeke

Prof. Middeke is Professor of Internal Medicine at the Medical Department of Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. He is also Director of the Hypertension Centre Munich, one of the European Society of Hypertension’s centres of excellence. He is Editor-in-Chief of several German medical journals. His current research is focused on blood pressure regulation, telemedicine, vascular ophthalmopathy and the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. He is principal Investigator at EUSTAR.

Atala Anthony

Anthony Atala, M.D.

Director of the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, and Professor and Chair of the Department of Urology at Wake Forest University. Dr. Atala is a practicing surgeon and researcher in the area of regenerative medicine. His current work focuses on growing new human cells, tissues and organs. Dr. Atala’s work has been listed among Time Magazine’s top 10 medical breakthroughs of the year.

Aubrey de Grey

Aubrey de Grey

Dr. Aubrey de Grey is a biomedical gerontologist based in Cambridge, UK and Mountain View, California, USA, and is the Chief Science Officer of SENS Research Foundation dedicated to combating the aging process. He is also Editor-in-Chief of Rejuvenation Research, the world’s highest-impact journal focused on intervention in aging. His research interests encompass the characterisation of all the side-effects of metabolism that constitute aging.

Ramunas Nadisauskas

Mr Nadisauskas is a research specialist who both creates new wellbeing formulas and coordinates research and production process with DEM4’s global partners during product development. He is a specialist in biologically active food supplements, and has created numerous tea formulas for lactating mothers. Today, his main focus is on probiotic and vitamin symbiosis.

Elmantas Pocevicius

Dr Pocevičius heads DEM4’s Research and Development Department. He is responsible for the development of new health and well-being products and oversees the quality verification process. His specialisation is the development of natural food supplements and vitamin programs that are specifically tailored to each customer’s individual needs.

Arunas Savickas

The Head of the Department of Drug Technology and Social Pharmacy, The Faculty of Pharmacy, Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, since 1992. One of the top Lithuanian researchers in his field A. Savickas participated in various local and international projects focused on dry extract and microelement technology, natural product use in cosmetics and biologically active substance development.
